Re: trouble w/son..........again

Thank you Liz. I must say, if it were not for people like you on these boards, I don't know how I would cope with my son's pain. I feel like I have so many friends here and so many mother's like myself who turn to you all for courage and strength. God Bless You!

Re: trouble w/son..........again

Hi,

My name is Maureen, mom to Gianni. He is 20 years old and almost 2 years post accident. My son sounds similar. He does not like to discuss the injury. I have tried to get him to read these boards, but he refuses.

Re: Dr. Scott Wolfe

<t>May 24th Gianni will see Dr. Wolfe. I am very disappointed in his recovery so far. It is one and a half years since nerve surgery and he really has not gotten anything back to speak of. In the beginning we thought things where happening, but really he has had very little recovery. We are going to...

Re: writing an appeal letter to insurance

<t>I'm going to look through my files to see if I can find the letter I wrote. It is definitly the best thing to do. You mainly have to push the fact that the doctors in your area are not specialist in Adult trauma brachial plexus injuries. Dr's who operate on newborns do not specialize in Adults. V...

Re: weight lifting injury

If I were you, I would go to a neurologist and have an EMG done. This will detect any nerve involvement.

Re: Dr. Scott Wolfe

<t>Most definitly. We went to Dr. Kline because he is the best. Now that the delicate nerve surgery is over and looking at Dr. Wolfe's cridentials, I feel confident that Dr. Wolfe would be a great doctor for Gianni to continue with. Dr. Kline also agreed, he has sent all of Gianni's records to Dr. W...

Dr. Scott Wolfe

<r>Has anyone been to Dr. Wolfe in Manhattan. I am in the process of scheduling an appointment with him. Gianni had his nerve graft surgery with Dr. Kline in New Orleans. We went back to him for the first post op check-up. We live in New York and the travel is becoming to expensive, so I asked Dr. K...

Re: Dr. Grossman

If you check out Dr. Kline, he has done over 2400 trauma brachial plexus surgeries. He wrote the book that others learn by, literally.
