Personally I just let hang there. I'm constantly surprised at how many people I meet and they do not realize, at first, my injury. I'm 23 years old and never had a doctor recommend a sling except after surgeries performed when younger. Even though I have limited use of one arm, it would seem the use a sling would make it as if I only had one arm.

Hi:

Have a button or link sewed on the outside of the cuff. Use VELCRO on the inside for a neater appearance.

First , ASC
Geat idea ;) :D
I am a great fan of a sling ;)
When it comes to work when its not about a flopping arm issue  it is about the bend in the arm and the looks sometime  it is far better to hold a suit case or carry a jacket for exercise  sling or exercise the limitation  I think the sling help support the shoulder and arm, there is always the increase in pain in our efforts and a sling is a good way to do it to  ;)
Just thinking
