Dr. Greg Borschel??

Post by tamfam »

Has anyone had any experience with Dr. Greg Borschel in St. Louis? Any input would be appreciated. We have a 3 month old with ROBPI and are looking into every BPI specialist we hear of. Thanks!

We do have a medical resource page on our website here, that has many of the specialists. Each doctor answered a questionaire also, to give some background on their approach to BPI. http://ubpn.org/medicalresources/us-bpi.html

Kiana had her surgery performed in St Louis in March by Dr Borschel and Dr Tongue. I dont think I have ever met any Dr with a better bedside manner than Dr Borschel. He has literally spent hours with us on the phone discussing everything from action plans to recovery. 2 weeks ago Kiana had small muscle fasciculations from 1 of the nerve transfers. We called him and he was as excited as we were. He was even more excited that she now has 20 degrees or so of movement. I have never had a Dr call me on a Sunday to check on her, offer us his cell phone if we have any questions and always call me back when he says he will.

He is an awesome surgeon as well as a GREAT person. We are beyond happy with all that he has done for our family.
