Injury Description, Date, extent, surgical intervention etc: LOBPI. I am 77 yrs old and never had a name for my injuries until 2004 when I found UBPN at age 66.

My injuries are: LOBPI on upper body and Cerebrael Palsy on the lower left extremities. The only intervention I've had is a tendon transplant from my left leg to my left foot to enable flexing t age 24 in 1962. Before that, my foot would freeze without notice on the side when wearing heels AND I always did wear them at work "to fit in" I also stuttered until around age 18-19...just outgrew it...no therapy for it. Also suffered from very very low self esteem; severe Depression and Anxiety attacks started at menopause. I stuffed emotions and over-compensated in every thing I did to "fit in" and be "invisible". My injuries were Never addressed or talked about until age 66. I am a late bloomer!!!!!

I welcome any and all questions about "My Journey".

IS it possible to add to the Forum list the......

Post by Carolyn J »

S it possible to add to the List of FORUMS PAGE that EVERYONE is Welcome on these "public" Forum Message Boards? The reason is that I am finding that the NEW REGISTERED FOLKS don't know that they can post a question on ANY of the public message boards if they have time to go further than the General Forum Board.....(is that confusing? I sometimes get too "wordy").

Thanks. :)

I agree, I also think there should be information somewhere that there is a Wednesday chat night (starting at 6 PST, 7 MST, 8CST, 9 EST). It's hard to find this information unless you dig through the forums.

I think it would be helpful to add a topic specifically for setting up chat room dates. For the weekly chat and for specific chats that may be about camp or other things, the information would finally be in one easy to access place. The weekly chat thread would be sticky.

i am trying to find another site for my injury i just can not navigate this mess. some one told me they left me a message over a week ago and i still cannot find it. trying to find a response to something i posted (whenever i find how to post) once in a while i see a posting icon, but for the most part, they are very difficult to find. i also have e-mails that i have a response to my post but i have no clue where to find it. i have posted something only 3 times in a month this is my 4th. i would like this site if it was more user-friendly.
