Re: Paralysed hand able to move again
Interesting. However, why is an implant needed? Can one not exercise the affected limb? Sometimes, as humans, we forget that plain old hard work is still an option with BPI. Please do not get me wrong. I am for technology, and new methods of preventing BPI. Bottom line is that medical personnel need...

Re: Anyone is southwest virgina or upper east tenn?
Hi Angelar1021: I do not live in the mentioned area. However, I was born with ROBPI. My right forearm was rotated for use. I have issues with overhead reaching, but, I rotate my body trunk to assist with movement. Exercising the limb is crucial. See your doctor, O.T. and P.T. for suggestions. Please...

Re: Dealing with new onset numbess
Hi DJSpringfield52 I agree with Jennifer P. on this issue. Moreover, finding an O.T. and P.T. for exercises may help with the apathy. Stay positive with your BPI. Use the forums! There are a lot of people with BPI, Erb's Palsy, TBPI, OBPI, and other conditions. We use our experiences and past therap...

Maine Get Together
Yes, I am persistent! Are there any people in Maine that would like to plan a couple of get togethers this summer? We could do a Potluck or spend a day at a person's camp for example. This is a 0pportunity for People to Meet and Greet others with BPI! I live in the central region of the State and am...

Re: Lyrica not working anymore.
Hi! I have the same issues with Lyrica. The med worked for a couple months, then, stopped. Also, I suffer from depression, and possibly bi-polar. I need to see a psychiatrist the end of May 2014 for possible new medications. I continue to do physical therapy on my BPI arm. I'm in pain, however, I ha...

Hi Jen:
Possible solution for people hitting your BPI arm. Try getting a seat with your non-BPI arm towards the aisle.
Happy Flying.

Re: Lyrica not working anymore.
I had issues using Lyrica. So, now, I see the pain clinic. I will try Accupuncture and others forms of pain management.
