Re: Chewing nails
<t>My 11 year old with LOBPI did this when she was younger. We used clove oil massged into the nails morning and night. Tastes terrible but also has an anesthetic quality to aid healing. Fortunately, at this stage she has regained enough feeling in her hand to not pull the nails out by the roots wit...

Re: recommendations on back packs?
<t> As usual it depends on the child and how severe the injury. It is so windy and we are under tornado watches till 11 p.m. We are just on the outskirts of Orlando and after surviving 3 hurricanes in a row last August/September, I couldn't bear the thought of another one. We ...

Re: BPI arm is cooler
Michaela has the same problems as Kath and also doesn't sweat on her BPI side arm and Pectoral region.
This is caused by the decreased blood circulation in the affected arm which also can inhibit growth.

Re: Medical bracelts-
<t>My 7 year old daughter wears her link bracelet on her right arm because she wears a splint on her left wrist. We tried the sports one first but she was 5 and it was lost in 3 weeks. At first she played with it in class and the teacher took it from her so I had to explain its importance and have it...

Re: TES electrodes
We just placed an order for electrodes through mayatek and had no problem. Go to www.mayatek.com/pediatric and download the order form. I got 1x6's and 1x4's and 1x1's with no problem at all. Received them 2 1/2 weeks ago.

Re: Letter from D.r Nath
I received the same e-mail newsletter today also as I'm sure many of you will.
Instead of being upset with the change, let's give Dr. Nath some time. I'm sure from what his newsletter says , we will be learning of great things.
