bracing

Post by joseph »

My son, Joseph is 8 months old and he is desperately trying to crawl. He has an LOBPI. When he goes to bare weight on his left arm it just collapses under him and bends in an awkward position usually with the wrist pushed up so far his hand touches the back of his wrist. What kind of splint, if any, should I ask his OT for and do they really work? I'm sure his OT will also tell me but I value the opinion of people who've been there done that.

Thanks,
Breonna
P.S.
I am on a mission to get a bill
passed that will Require these
injuries be reported, first in
my state and then maybe national.
Any suggestions??? Anyone want
to help???
