Re: Cost of MODQUAD

I don't know the cost of the Modquad surgery , but wanted to say that Dr.Kozin at Shriners Hospital in Philidalphea does a similar surgery and Shriners Hospital is Free. All that is required is that a child need help. Many have gone to see Dr. Kozin and I am sure that they will post his email info soon.

Good Luck to your child and family.

Alka,

Costs of ModQuad are dependent on the individual and needs to be discussed with the practicing physician. Discussion of costs in an open forum is not allowed by UBPN policy. Perhaps people can contact you through email with their experiences to give you an idea.

Alka,

I have been in contact with quite a few parents in India over the years. If you post your email, I will give it to those families so they can contact you.

A couple of years ago (or maybe more now I'm not sure) Dr. Nath went to India and trained a group of specialists on how to do bpi surgeries including the mod quad.

Here is the name of one bpi specialist in India who has been trained by Dr. Nath to do the Mod Quad and is seeing a lot of patients with bpi.

Dr S Raja Sabapathy
MS MCh DNB(Plast) MNAMS FRCS(Ed)
Director & Head
Department of Plastic Surgery, Hand Surgery and
Reconstructive Microsurgery
Ganga Hospital
Swarnambika Layout, Ramnagar
Coimbatore - 641 009.

Cost of MODQUAD

Post by alka »

My child needs to undergo Modquad. I do not reside in USA and hence have no insurance there. If it needs to be done at Texas, how much could the costs go upto approximately, including surgery, post-op, rehabilitation, etc. THis would help me in deciding if I can afford it there (as I hear that some of the best results are obtained there). Else, I could look for options available elsewhere. Please goive some info.
