Hi!
My name is Chris and am new to the BPI world. My son, Cooper, was born in September with a BPI and has since seen many therapists and specialists. All have been helpful, but what I really need is a network of people who have been through all of this to answer my specific, non-professionsl, questions. I really need other peoples' opinions on different doctors and plans of care.

I would love to meet or just talk for some sound advice!
Please respond back...

Thanks for your time!
Chris

I am deffinatly looking for this same thing as Chris! My daughter was also born in September and has LOBRI. It was very hard for me accept that my daughter had this injury when she was born. She had surgery on March 26th and I have since been in contact with other moms who have gone through this and it has helped me to accept, and expect different scenerios. It has really helped me to talk to other moms who are dealing with the same thing! I am going to attend the benefit rock concert this summer, and can not wait to meet more of you!

We are planning a Family Fun Day even on June 14th during the day and a Benefit Concert that night.

We'll be at the Plymouth Community Center again - we've been there for years and it's always been fun. You'll be on your own to pay your own admission and bring your own picnic basket. If the weather's nice there's a great playground there and ball fields. If the weather's not nice there is a fantastic indoor beach pool good for all ages there.

I'm going to set up a message board that will be specific for this gathering so that we can "meet" in advance and share contact information. Unlike other years, we will not be renting any rooms there - it is very expensive and we don't want to put that cost on the parents.

Email me if you are interested: francine@litzfamily.com
